Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Profile Pictures wants everyone to be able to find information, enquire and book photography at www.profilepictures.co.uk. This statement describes our accessibility approach and how to get help. Ed Curthoys is responsible for accessibility enquiries.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility status and improvements

We aim to improve the website towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We have not completed a full accessibility audit and do not currently claim conformance. Some images may lack helpful descriptions, and layout, contrast, keyboard navigation or third-party features may present barriers. Our priorities are:

  • Clear headings and readable text.
Useful text descriptions for important images.
Keyboard access and visible focus on links and controls.
Readable contrast and layouts that work when enlarged.
An alternative way to enquire or book if an online feature is difficult to use.

Booking and third-party services

Our site uses Wix and online booking and payment features. Accessibility can vary between these services. If a feature prevents you from enquiring or booking, contact Ed by email or phone and we will help arrange an alternative. We do not claim that these services meet a tested accessibility standard.

Accessibility at your photography session

Please discuss any access or communication needs with Ed before your session, including step-free access, seating, breaks or extra time. We will discuss reasonable adjustments with you. Sessions take place at an agreed venue, so facilities vary and access arrangements should be confirmed with us and the venue before booking.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

Please tell us which page or feature caused difficulty, what happened and how you would prefer us to help. You do not need to share a medical diagnosis. We aim to acknowledge enquiries within five working days and agree the next steps with you. We will review this statement as the website and our services improve.
